Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain women with them, came to the tomb bringing spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in but did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shinning garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” (Luke 24:1-7)
The glorious account of our risen Lord, Jesus Christ, is the most profound truth of all of the Bible’s prophecies. In this account in Luke, His body is not found where it was placed only three days earlier, yet, just as the other accounts in Matthew, Mark, and John, all give the main reason, remember how He spoke . . . Jesus prepared His disciples for His departure not wanting any of them to lose hope. The hope of the gospel for all of mankind is placed in the resurrection of Christ. We have forgiveness of our sins through the cross of Christ, His blood shed was for remission of sins we have committed against a holy God. His resurrection, brings to us eternal life as He, Jesus, conquer’s death our greatest enemy by rising from the dead. Christ’s death fulfills God’s will – Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin, You had no pleasure. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come– In the volume of the book it is written of Me– To do Your will, O God.’ ” (Hebrews 10 :5-7)
Dear friend, The church, the body of Christ, celebrates the resurrection of Christ this day, as a day God has triumphed over evil. As a day that God said would happen, and it happened just as He said. Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, loved us so much, that He died for us! Go out today and celebrate with much joy with your family and friends the goodness of God today!
May the Lord bless your walk today!

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a excellent job with this. Also, the blog loads super quick for me on Chrome. Superb Blog!
